The Colorado Country Music Association will hold their State-Wide Talent Competition on July 27th & 28th at the Crossroads Event Center in Penrose. We hope to see you all there. We're always searching for new talent as well as helping our winners from the past.
Kirkwood Presbyterian Church is holding the Annual Highway 50 Yard Sale on Friday, May 17th & Saturday, May 18th from 8 am until 3 pm both days. Kirkwood is located at 5th Ave. and Grant Street in Penrose, just off Broadway. We will have items in our basement, library, & in the parking lot. Refreshments will be on sale, too. Proceeds go to our Youth program. For more information, call the church @ 372-3830.

When you buy gasoline for your lawn and garden engines remember to use a fuel stabilizer. Gasoline can degrade in storage in as little as 30 days. Numerous persons from the Penrose area have been helped by Orchard of Hope. The 13Th annual walk for hope will be held June 8 at veterans park in canon city.
