Congratulations to I.T. Dimensions, Inc., and Dale Johns, C.P.A., our 2010 Business of the Year recipients! This award was presented at our Annual Banquet, February 6, 2011.
Dale Johns, C.P.A., is the current Treasurer of the Penrose Chamber of Commerce. He served 3 years in the Navy during the Vietnam era, & then graduated from the University of South Dakota with a degree in accounting. Dale has been a Certified Public Accountant for over 35 years.
Dale's volunteer activities in Iowa included 20 years with the Red Cross in Iowa, 20 years at the Mayor of Rossie, Iowa, and Treasurer of the Higgins Museum in Okoboji, Iowa.
Since moving from Iowa to Colorado in 1996, Dale has served on the FRIENDS Board of the Penrose Community Library Board & as Treasurer of the Penrose Chamber of Commerce Board. He also serves as the new Treasurer of the Fremont-Custer Historical Society. In addition to his accounting practice, Dale is also a licensed Realtor with Prime Realty.
Dale lives with his wife, Sherry, and stepdaughter, Emma, on the Tree House Farm in Penrose. His hobbies include horseback riding, western history, exploring Colorado, and collecting western memorabilia. He's also a whiz at building raised beds for the garden, enjoys irrigating his hay field, and helping Emma with her math homework. Dale & Sherry have been married almost 8 years. They met at Penrose Community Library, were married in the gazebo at Penrose Park & are proud residents of Penrose.

Covering all areas of computer consulting, including networking, software development, database development, servers, web hosting, website design, and now the new Cloud computing; the central figure and brilliance of the business is Harry Athey.
Harry works diligently to provide detailed, dedicated and responsive service to his customers, while making high tech stuff easy to understand for the rest of us. He strives to provide solutions that are straightforward, forward-thinking, low-cost, and ethical.
Harry has always been an advocate for Penrose and Penrose businesses. He donates many free hours to the Penrose Chamber and this year put many hours toward updating the Penrose website.
Harry is married to Luna, and they have two daughters. In his almost non-exisistent spare time, he enjoys working in his woodshop and building things for their home. From I
